I might put this in the Airgun section as well

Post by daytime dave » Tue Aug 16, 2016 8:12 pm

I attended an airgun show last month. A quick go around while waiting to do business with my favorite dealer landed me at a table with two knife boxes. The first drew my attention and held it. A Case box with $20.oo on it. It had to be a deal. Opening it revealed a China made Schrade. I advised the seller if this and kept going. After conducting my business with my dealer and purchasing a cool cartridge BB gun, I returned to the knife table. I saw the second knife box as if for the first time. It held my interest as I looked at four of it's six sides, all with something on it. I opened it and saw a well packaged knife. I couldn't get the money out fast enough. I never knew they made them, but I loved it. USA made.

It looked like a Camillus contract knife. A few minutes of internet research confirmed this. I want them all now, but this one is nice enough. A true collectors item. It is as new in the box as they come. A nice collectible from a favorite air gun company.

Great story & photos, DD.

The best is seeing "USA" on the blade. :) Interesting, however, that it is only visible with the blade open at 90* to the handle. When fully opened, the USA mark disappears! Anyway, it's there, which is what counts. Thanks for posting your cool find.

Sounds like a plan Like I said, I do have some experience, but its been a while since my last RP so I might be rusty. Might as well get to work and have my app in within the next few hours.
