Been on my belt every day for many, many years. I don't think a day goes by that I don't use it for one purpose or another.

I am mostly packing this one nowadays, a Silver Stag with 5" blade. Real handy knife.

1st off I have an extensive collection of knives. I have expensive knifes, less expensive, family heirlooms, and everything in between. I've been carrying knifes since 1964. The belt knife I carried in the USCG saved myself and another crewman's life once at sea. After that episode I NEVER went without some type of knife on me. I really don't like belt knifes, and I don't like heavy pocket knifes. My knife that I carry every day must be able to handle most chores on my 10 acres of land. That requires a good knife. So when I show you the knife that I carry 99% of the time, don't laugh. It weighs 3/4 of an once, it's flat, highly visible, and it holds an edge as good as most blades.
It's a Buck 425. I've had it since 89. In fact if I carry a folder with me or any other knife, this Buck goes along for the ride also. No matter what. They just started producing them again. Feast your eyes on this little gem.

nothing to laugh at .. ;) .. for many years, most of my knives have been and continue to be Bucks .... for the last couple of months my daily carry pocket knife has been a the Buck 284 Bantam ... it weighs .6 oz and has proven to have all of the positive characteristics I've come to appreciate in a Buck ...

I've got several pocket and sheath knives to choose among, but this 3.25" multi-tool is what I carry everyday. It was a Christmas gift I received about four years ago, and even though it's an inexpensive import, it holds a sharp edge, is well built, and the carabiner quickly and easily slips on and off my belt loop.

The Silver Stag mentioned above has now become my daily user. Comfortable and real handy with that 5" blade.

I looked there at the scrimshaw knives also. My buddie would like the one with the Elk on the handle.

Another favorite of mine made by Great Eastern Cutlery, a #29 Stockyard Whittler. This is one of the handiest little knives I ever had.

My EDC is an Uncle Henry LB8 in a side sheath next to the Glock in an IWB I built.

My edc knife is a Piranha automatic great knife @ a reasonable price. My field knife is an Olson knife (USA made) stag handles and a leather sheath was an anniversary present 48yrs ago (our 3rd). I keep all my knives sharp with a Ken Onion belt sharpener, belts range from 80grit (lawn mower blades) to 5000grit with 2 leather stropping belts. I know my knives are sharp when I shave my arm and I can feel the hair pop :)

Just got it but I think it will become my EDC. Looks a little scary but the blade is only about 2½ inches long, closed length just a little over 3 inches. Small enough that I can carry it on the pocket clip and still comfortably carry my Leatherman Squirt in the same pocket.
