Crosman 1377C Parts Question

I got a 1377C that I buy in 2008 or so with a hairline crack in the right pistol grip. I contacted Crosman and no replacement part available ( it was worth a shot). I found a couple of sites that ship only to Canada. Any ideas? The part number is 1377-071. Thanks.

I would think that Super Glue should fix it nicely.

Yes. I was thinking of that as a last resort. Or, I may try a zip tie or something on the inner side around the base hole for the screw. The crack is only noticeable when I tighten the screw. Thanks for the idea!

Ditto on the gluing. There are also epoxy glues specifically for plastic. Probably an even better solution than crazy glue for a long lasting fix.

Acra-glas gel will permanently repair it and end up stronger than before. It has brown die to mix in it to get a really good match. I have bonded things with this you would have had to use a hammer to get them apart. Ask anyone who has ever glass bedded a rifle stock with this and for got the release agent and see if it was easy to get them apart. Usually requires quite a bit of heat to separate them. The die only needs a pin head size to get it the color you need but that depends on how much you mix.

This place has A LOT of things for the 1377. I purchased two sets of grips from a man who made grips and fore ends that were exceptional, but he passed away a few years ago. His level of quality will likely not be seen again. This place is close and has a ton of stuff. I might spend a lot of money there next winter........ https://www.alliancehobby.com/wood.grips.htm

Thank you Dave! I have been thinking about wood, and I think that I came across this site. I was not crazy about the the fat forearm. But since you like their work, I may give it a shot.
