So today I had to call Airguns of Az again because of my credit card issues with someone once again getting my card number. I just called them a little over a week ago. At that time they told me that there was a shipment due in on June 1 and I should have my airgun I ordered. Today I was told that in the shipment there was just a few of each rifle. They were supposed to get 10 of the one I ordered and they got 3. So Im on the wait again for my airgun. 6 to 8 more weeks and hopefully I will have one. Im starting to know how RR feels waiting for is highwall.

Sorry to hear that, Al. That would try my patience, too. I've never had any issues with AOA and have ordered several air rifles from them. I do, however, call, to check availability before I order. I suspect this pandemic is affecting the airgun pipeline, just like everything else.

It looks like a nice rifle and waiting is not fun. Maybe, the time could be used for investigating accessories or other firearm items? It helps me, when I am waiting on things. Of course, I end up spending more money.

I decided to order a Crosman 2240 pistol. Its CO2. Its supposed to be here next week. Will see. So in the mean time I can get some pistol practice while I wait. It seems to have good reviews. Got some pellets CO2 and pellgun oil yesterday. Now waiting on the gun to ship.

Had a Crossman pellet pistol in the 60s. Nice gun but the problem I had with CO2 was they start out hot and rather quickly lose velocity and would have to shoot enough to be able to open the chamber to replace the CO2 cartridge. Maybe something has changed.

They guy on the phone told me they were led to believe that they were getting a good size order. They were in fact out of that model when I ordered it. At the time of ordering I was told they have a hard time keeping that model in stock. I did call back one time and was going to order a second gun but they were out of that one to. Last time I called the guy mentioned there supplies of everything were totally depleted. Guy said airguns have gone wild because of the stay at home rules. Im ok with it I will get it eventually get my rifle. In the meantime I will play with the pistol

When I was a kid I also had a CO2 pistol. It shot very well. I think the hot at first and then the bleed down is there with all of them.

Al, I got excited, thinking your rifle had arrived when I saw you posting in this thread again. Sorry to hear of your bad news. I'm not knocking AOA, I've never bought from them.
Have you ever tried Pyramid Air? Very fine place.

Been hearing reports that Pyramidair is having the same supply issues and some folks are complaining about very slow shipping. Getting hard to even find some types of pellets, now. I think the guy at AOA was right about people turning to air guns during this pandemic. We sure have.

Glad I got my rifle when I did. AOA told me then it was going to be bad and everything was flying off the shelves. This can't last forever Al, hopefully you will get yours faster than RR has. He has the patience of a saint.

Here is my airgun range. Lookout Hickok45 Im comin for you. Let me tell you those little chickens are hard to hit with a pistol. Im pretty impressed so far with the pistol. Both my neighbor and I shot 2 tubes worth of CO2 thru it. I need to get some other pellets and see how it does with those I have 2 tins of Crosman destroyers now. Maybe i willl try some other types. We even hit the rat on the stick

Looking good, Al. Yeah, those little airgun sized silhouettes are hard to hit, especially with a pistol. Noice work.
