Anyone out there using CBD products? I'm currently trying one with good results...I think..I actually think so.
Anyone have experience with any of the applications that are available?

This is a touchy subject. For those that don’t know what it is it comes from a plant that also produces THC. My wife used CBD with wonderful results before she passed away. Being legal in Washington was a Godsend for her.
She was able to get pain relief and not get high. Think of it as taking aspirin and not “doing drugs”. It comes in a tenure form and works within seconds and she would stop vomiting in about one minute.

My son gave me a half-used bottle of the water-soluble variety of CBD oil to try out on my chronic hip pain (arthritis? I dunno.) and it has worked wonders. No side effects, and seems to attack the inflammation quickly and the benefits seem to be cumulative, as I'm taking it less frequently and still having less pain.
I've since visited the local CBD store and, from what I was told, there are even more "efficient" products available in terms of getting into your system, so I'll take the plunge and buy a bottle.

From a person who is strongly against Marijuana (other than true Medicinal purposes) as well as other drugs, so far I don't see anything wrong with CBD and know that it has been very beneficial to many out there.

I deal with chronic hip and lower back pain and would love to give it a try, but not sure if it's legal here in Minnesoooota.

Didn't know it was an issue up there. This may or may not help, as I didn't dig into it...

As strict as Virginia is, I believe it is legal here now. I would check with your local Health Dept.

I've heard from a couple people that their Dr even recommended it.

As unlikely as it seems, you can buy CBD products in grocery stores in Missouri. The medical community is digging in and getting serious about studying it, and there's certainly more science to be discovered, quantified and verified, but, based on my own experience, the sooner it becomes more mainstream, the better, as that will bring more competition to the marketplace and prices will tend to drop over time.

Great point Evan. One would think competition would result in lower prices. There are, however, many dispensaries around here, but price point has not yet changed...give it time I guess.
BTW...clever name where I get mine..." Franny's Farmacy "

Just a bunch of old hippies! Prices are where they are because it's still sort of a cottage industry and there seems to be a pretty rigid cost structure in the supply chain from top to bottom.
Franny's Farmacy will get their payday when they get bought out by some multi-national in a few years. In the meantime, they're getting $55 for tiny little bottle, which is paying some bills, I'd imagine!

Good CBD oil SHOULD not trip any drug screens that workplaces use. There are some smaller companies that don't have the cleaner product available. Most times it is buyer beware on the THC levels in whatever one buys. Some companies will flat out tell you theirs won't trip any screenings, and people get positives in job drug tests from this kind of selling lie. I'm not saying anything about any particular companies or products, just telling you what I have heard, and seen. Let's put it this way, as a personal experience a niece works for a small company in Colorado, and flat out told me to stop using theirs after I reminded her about drug testing for my job.
I will say that CBD oil works very well for me, helping with concussion recovery, arthritis pain, and other aches and pains in my body that I have. I didn't think I would ever recommend a product like this in the past, but now I will and do.
*******I need to double check my spell check.......

My wife uses it for neck/shoulder pain, and it has been quite helpful (she was rear-ended hard in traffic a few years ago). As a side benefit, since she has been taking it for the pain, it also seems to be helping her anxiety. Her father has some pretty serious back issues (waiting on surgery), and she has convinced him to try it. He says it isn't doing a lot for his pain, but he is able to sleep through the night now, which he hasn't been able to do for some time.

In Washington State it lists the THC and CBD levels on the package. It is difficult to get pure CBD and no THC.
I need two hip replacements but choose to live with the pain until I get the surgeries because I don’t like the THC part of it.

Laws there must be pretty lax when it comes THC vs CBD. If so, it would seem very easy to discern between the two. As long as it's not THC...yet CBD...then go for it ( CBD )...if ya don't wanna get high too...seems like the stuff works.

The whole plant, for medicinal purposes or otherwise, should be available to all...A higher power put it on this earth for a reason!
Don't care to get high, however, if it can, in whatever form, make life better, then G-speed.
Get rid of pain!!

This actually sheds light on many of the misconceptions of why plants that we used to grow freely are now verboten.
