Update on my Back N 72 Bug project....

Finally after a LOT of sweat I am near the end of this cool project that just makes me smile! The rear area that was the back seat is now finished of with the sound system and have a custom trim plate coming to hide the bottom retaining bracket. Next I need to make a perforated aluminum box the cover the amp unit and wiring. The system sounds great with plenty of hard hitting bass that is crisp since this is a non- ported speaker box.

Now about those folks in the back.... Found a place that makes picture pillows any size you want and thought it would be cool to have a few showing my world back in 1972. Yep that be me and the GF of that time in my 66 VW plus for any of you that lived in Central Va. back in the early 70's The Bowman Body,,,Bill Bowman who was my boss back in my TV production days. Of course I had to make one of my dear wife too who I met 2 years later to keep her happy! Miss not having her around the home. There is a car show and festival coming up in 2 weeks at the place she is at that they have every year. I will have the Bug there this year instead of the Mustang and will have Margie out there for a while to enjoy it with me....hope for great weather!!!!

We have a weekly car show (gathering) downtown all summer. Last week was the final for the year and had 150 cars and trucks. It is a nice gathering with door prizes and trophies. Enjoy the festival.
