I hope to see some live games. I'm old school, plus I'm German. I'm biased.
My top 3 favorite players are all in soccer heaven.

Mexico won 2-0 over S. Africa. It wasn’t a very exciting game.
S. Korea 2-1 over Czechia. This was an exciting game with a 1-0 comeback from Korea for a 2-1 win.

Not a soccer guy but I agree…
GO USA!
My grandson is a huge soccer guy. His folks are having an outdoor bar and entertainment center built on the patio. (California so the outdoor bar works great). He is super excited to have his friends over to watch the matches on the patio. Big TV behind the bar. When we were there some weeks ago it was nearly complete and they expected to be done for the World Cup. I’ll ask him to send me a pic.

I just watched the goals for Mexico yesterday. Nice goals!
The first was really bad on SA defense. Goal wide open! Any forward filed player would run right into it.
The second was a daring header. A bit of luck, there wasn't any other way. Unstoppable.

I haven't seen one in a long time. That foul was a close call for the referee. However, rules are very strict inside the Penalty Zone.
I think the German team could do better. Less tactical play, more offense.
That being said!
