Anybody have any experience with one these. A guy next to me , at the range, was having way to much fun with his.Got to shoot a cylinder of .45 LC with it, so much fun. He is a hiking guide in the Rockies and carry's it with him over the shoulder in sheath. He likes it a lot because of the different loads he can use.

Nope too ugly for me to own.
I bought a Judge when hey came out with 3" version.
It shot fine but I just never really cared for it, so it went down the road.
Do they have a shroud on the side cylinder to prevent gases and such from getting to the support arm?
I was thinking it did, but if shooting left hand I don't know.

I have the Taurus/Rossi pistol, not the rifle version. It's my least favorite. After a few rounds it hurts the hand and wrist to shoot using self defense ammo 45LC and .410. It will be the first gun I sell when I get to it.

Also, the cylinder bores are too big. Ammo back outs on recoil and jams cylinder rotation.

I never had any issues with mine. It shot fine, I just didn't shoot it much and someone came along and wanted one and I sold it. Shortly after that was when I bought the 45 colt Vaquero.
I haven't missed it a bit.
