Need Landing Party Volunteers - Any Trekkies Here?

I'm putting together a landing party. Any Star Trek Fans here?

I've always been a big fan of Star Trek. My feather liked it and I started watching it at an early age. I thought it was mostly well written and certainly entertaining.

There is a company called The Wand Company. I think they got their start from making Harry Potter wands that can do things. They have also dedicated some of their efforts into producing Star Trek items. There are now four. All have realistic features. They have a phaser, communicator, tricorder and a glowing rock that you shoot with a hand type1 phaser. I now have all four of the items. The tricorder being the last. It took about five years from announcement to delivery, but it was worth the wait.

Let's get a landing party together.

My wife was a huge Star Trek fan, more so than me, though I watched all of the original series and movies and several of the spin off series, too. I'm enjoying the movies with Chris Pine and looking forward to the next one. Loved Picard and that crew, too.

She always wore a Star Trek pin on her jacket. Since she passed, I wear it now.

I was a huge trekkie back in the day. The original Series and the first movies. I never really got into the spin off series that much.

In the original series it was the new guy in the red shirt that didn't make it back from the landing parties right? That is not me!! I don't want that role.

The wife is a Trekkie, I am not. She still watches some of the spinoffs.
I did watch it a little as a youngster, but I grew out of it.

Me a little bit. I have the Enterprise blue prints. I once had a 3D Chess set. It was given away. No place to display and awkward to store. Over time the glass cover cracked. I like the original series, original series based movies and Voyager. Some of the Picard series was ok, but I lost interest. Absolutely hated Deep Space9. Chris Pine movies, so-so.

I do have a miniature (unopened) toy set of the various Trek spaceships.

I knew it. So far, the makings of a fine landing party.

Don't worry Ernie, we won't put you in a red shirt.

Have you had the phaser out to the range yet?

My favorite was "The Next Generation". Picard and No. 1. I did watch the original series of course and have seen the movies. Enjoyed them all.
Don't know if that makes me a Trekkie or not, but they all are fun!

CT, I love the pin!

Dave, those items are pretty special.

Okay, I'll give next gen a few points. I did like picard, ricard, and the hot chick with the dark curly hair. Counselor Troi. Data was my favorite.

I guess they learned from the original series that the Spock character was essential.
