I really liked this series when it was out. I started watching it again from the beginning when I got back from Texas while riding my trainer bike in the basement. Im hooked again and about through season 2. I find myself watching it as much as I can. Anyone else like the series

I do, and it's funny I recently started rewatching it also.
I don't remember where I paused.
I stumbled across another old series that I watched when it came out originally, "Justified"
But, yes Longmire is a good one and I will finish it after this.
I'm watching an episode right now.

If you have Prime try Joe Picket. It's just as good.
We loved both.

Yup, have re-watched both of those several times, as well as Deadwood and Sons of Anarchy. We are re-watching Grimm now, in season five of the six seasons.

We'vebeen through it at least twice. Justified, endeavor, lewis, foyle's war are all great series

We watched the series a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. It's kind of nice watching a series from a few years back, as you can watch a few episodes if you want.
I'm currently working my way through the original Dexter, and I'm really enjoying it. Have also watched all three seasons of the Reacher series. I like the story lines in that, and the poetic justice is a kind of a feel-good thing, but you do need to suspend belief in reality to an extent.

Longmire is based on the fictional town of Durant, Wyoming, which is really Buffalo, Wyoming, where I have the privilege of living in. We have Longmire Days every summer, which is an excellent time for many of us who live here go away for a few days to avoid the crowds. I have read only one of Craig Johnsons books and have never watched an episode of the series. Lots of people must be into the series and books from the amount of tourists that show up for Longmire Days.

I’ve been to Buffalo many times. I like that area a lot. I have hauled road salt and feed to various places around the Big Horn area. The ride up shell canyon is awesome to Burgess Junction. Need to get back up there sometime and show my wife around.

I've watched the series once. I liked it but like the books better. Much the same characters, but two different universes.

I liked the series.

I discovered and binge-watched Longmire during Covid. I had been widowed for a few years and could all too easily relate to Walt Longmire. It was a great show. I loved it. There is a rumor that it could be revived for yet another season.

Not that they're related except by genre (and a cast member), but I've been watching Dark Winds, which is currently in production and stars Zahn McClarnon, who also had a role in Longmire. It's about to be renewed for its fourth season. I really like it, too.

Robert Taylor (Longmire) was also one of the stars in Territory. An Australian cowboy series.

No TV. But I did like the Longmire books as well as Joe Picket.

I've read the Pickett books as well. There is a 2 season TV series I haven't seen. Supposed to still be on Paramount and Amazon Prime.

Watching a show called Blindspot on netflicks now. Pretty Good, lots of twists and turns. Daughter recommended it.
For a change of pace, restarted NCIS, will watch thru the point where Ziva leaves, then a few more episodes then drop out, like most of the audience did.... LOL.

New Longmire book came out end of May. "Return to Sender".

I watched Blindspot when it was originally released. It's good starting out. After 2 seasons I lost interest.

I think I've finished my run with Blacklist. I'm five or six episodes into season eight and decided last night that I despise each and every character.

I went online and read the ending of the series. To put it lightly, the writing is crap and a cop out. I'm tired of "flawed" characters being Poop people. You can have a flawed character that isn't a Poop person. I'm tired of twists and turns being designed into each episode, thus depriving the series of an overall end theme.

Most of all. I'm tired of shows going on past five years. Honestly, season 3 is usually the peak of a series. Seasons 4 or 5 are still watchable. After that, it's all crap.
