Picked up the .410
Picked up the .410
I went to my FFL dealer to pick up my single shot 410. I called Henry to try and find out when my .243 will ship. I was told they’re waiting for some material they need for production. 6-8 weeks should be ready. I’ll post a picture of the shotgun tomorrow. It has some really beautiful wood for sure, very beautiful grain. Really happy with it.
My first Henry if is shoots half as well as it looks I’ll be very happy!

Yes, congratulations. I've always liked the wood on my Henry's.

Mine doesn’t have a lot of figure in it but it’s very good looking just the same. I decided to switch to a 20ga O/U for grouse hunting and have mine listed for sale here locally. No takers so far, it will take the right buyer to sell is as these 410’s are pretty unique. Enjoy yours.
Re: Picked up the .410
Which singleshot 410 did you get? The brass or the black?
Re: Picked up the .410
I’m curious there was no type of lock with the gun. I’ve never bought a new gun without a cable lock with it? I’ve got locks so not a problem. It just surprised me.

Re: Picked up the .410
The only time I got locks was with purchase of a pistol. Never with a rifle.

Re: Picked up the .410
Yep, that’s a nice looking piece of wood. Nice clean lines on your shotgun.
Re: Picked up the .410
There's just something special about a 410. And I agree with Hatch about those nice clean lines. The beauty of functionality.
Congrats on a nice looking addition, and hope you have great luck and enjoy it.

Re: Picked up the .410
Both of my recent Rossi Trappers acquisitions came with cable locks.
Also, the last Savage Axis I bought a few years back came with one.
As to 410s, I own 4, 2 pumps, a SxS, and a Turkish made SS.
Hey, Hatch how long is that Henry barrel? Nice lookin gun for sure.

It’s a 24” barrel with the side gate. Nice length for fast swinging in the Grouse woods. After commenting yesterday about it might be hard to find a buyer a guy bought it yesterday afternoon. So now I’m shopping for a 20 ga O/U and want 26” barrels to keep the OAL similar to the Henry. Not many out there, lots of 28” for sure.
