I apologize if a subject like this has been posted on before.
I've been trying to somewhat (not totally) wean myself off the computer in an effort to get more stuff done around the house, & etc.. So I don't check in here as often as I used to. I hope this isn't a sorta "duplicate" of someone else's thread.
All that said, I happened to be watching a youtube video for one of the things I've needed finishing for awhile. The youtube "suggestions" came up with a series of videos from a New Zealand family visiting the U.S., one of which was in Oregon where I live. And that kinda led to a short rabbit hole of watching another video where they went to Cody, Wyoming. Cool, I thought. I've been to Cody a coupla times, and enjoyed it a lot. I've wondered what folks from another country think about the U.S. in general, and about firearms specifically.
The family went to a place in Cody where a person can pay to shoot guns at a very nice indoor range. They got to shoot some neat guns, and I'm hoping you folks here might be better at identifying some of them better than I'm able to. It looks like the wife shot a brass civil war Henry (probably a replica?). I think the kids shot an 1892 Winchester. The revolver the wife and son shot seem to be, what, civil war era Army/Navy Colts?
The father shot a flintlock rifle, and having not been around those long guns much, had forgotten about the lag time from trigger pull to "Bang!!" time. Gives me much, much respect for those folks that had to shoot those rifles for food and survival, and for those folks who still shoot 'em now.

I might watch their video where they go to a Buccee's. I've been to one (I think near Kyle, TX?), and myself, I was overwhelmed. I dunno. Been on this laptop too long already.........
