First Year In

Post by HenryFan » Mon Nov 18, 2024 8:27 am

Folks -

Today marks a year since I joined and I wanted to say how much I enjoy this forum.

No foul language, no rude hurtful comments, no offensive topics and importantly, forum members who are civil and courteous.

I have found that with the exception of me, folks on the forum are good people.

I look forward to next year with you.

Mr. cooperhawk -

If I remember correctly, Ms. cooperhawk had some medical challenges earlier in the year. I hope she came out well and all is resolved in her favor.

Thanks for asking and yes, she is just fine now and back practicing law. I think she will do that until the
day she dies. She likes helping folks.
I had some surgery about two months ago and at 84 am feeling better than I have for many years.

It's good to hear both she and you are well.

Old age has it moments, for sure, but it beats the alternative.

Like I always say... It's family..

"We may pick on you, but like family, in good fun. The mods wouldn't have it any other way."

Tip of the hat to your first year, hope you're around for many more.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
