Granddaughter in hospital in big city:
They tried to put the food tube 4 times with a local anesthesic finally took her to surgery and put her under completely. She was in a lot of pain when they were trying to put tube with the local, really felt sorry her. She has been sleeping since they brought her back to the room. Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend.

P.S. Thanks to all for the well wishes, I tell her all the time that this forum sends their prayers and get wells.

Totally agree with what everyone has said. Keep the updates comin BRM. We care about your shooting partner and how the rest of the family is handling all of this. Prayers for strength to you all and most of all healing prayers for her.

Outside of a church group, I've found this bunch of people to be friends and supporters above a lot of folks.

BRM, we kinda feel like we have grown up with your granddaughter these last few years. We have loved the shooting partner stories and shared your and your family’s grief with her health issues. Keep posting especially if it helps a little bit.

Granddaughter update: feeding tube inserted successfully. She was given liquids and her dehydration was lessened and her body responded to minerals, vitamins and protein. She did well and is being released today. Lot of worry released from family. I am so relieved.
