Was going to order this tool carrier rack for my utility tractor I keep at my range until I saw the shipping cost at $49.99 ! Damn if I pay almost half what it cost to ship!!!! Oh well back to picking up some steel and doing more fabricating!

I'm guessing you're not a "Prime" member? Yes, the membership is not cheap either, but we have ordered so many things from Amazon that it has paid off.

I agree, Prime has been well worth the cost to us, but that said, I fully agree "Screwed up times we live in....".

Seeing it's a Craftsman, it may be worth checking with your local dealer, like Lowes for example. They may be able to order it for no shipping cost.

I ordered a large set of side steps for my 4Runner and even they were free shipping. That IS outrageous for shipping cost.

We are Prime members but no free shipping on that item and it did have a good discount on it you might not get at local box store.

However that item gave me the plan I will use to build my own cheaper. Don't think that fabric bag would last very long so I am going to use one of those tuff plastic tool tubs. The tub and frame will be removable if needed. The FUN begins!

I used to order some things from Amazon and was a prime member for a few years. Quit using them about 3 years ago. If I can't get what I want at a local b&m I don't need it.

Probably ships on a pallet. Pallet and lift fees jack up the shipping costs.

Since Sears sold/lost the Craftsman trademark .....Expect junk from anywhere to bear that name......Lotsa stuff from cross the pond.
