Couldn't get down to my range today due to high water!

Tried three different country road routes and all were blocked off at some point due to high water after the big storm couple days ago.
Now we have another storm coming in Friday with another inch or so of rain and then Tuesday with rain/snow moving in. Oh well maybe around Easter! :x
Called the Sheriff Dept and they said one of those roads was washed out where it runs near a large creek.

Yeah, it's that time of year. Makes me want to buy one of those indoor practice devices. I have not been shooting much. I really need a shooting buddy. Damn

I shoot solo all the time. Most of the people here are fair weather shooters yet they will drill a hole in ice and drop a line when it’s -20F.

Sorry to hear of the high water forty.
We had high winds a few days ago. We lost power twice the same night.

On the flip side, I believe our drought will finally be over.

Yeah I think we are like12 inches of rain above normal for December and into January. Tried to pull up the Va. 511 site to see if there were any roads closed that I take and it showed nothing so took my normal route.

We could really USE some rain here. Our pond is down about ten feet. Some of the small ponds in the pastures around us are dry. We know about the flooding though. Our first year here we had a big flood, our creeks flooded into the pecan orchard and over the roadway in front of the farm. I had three inches of water in the woodshop.
