Henry Double Barrel Shotgun?

Although I'm still considering a Stoeger Coach Gun, I thought about Henry. I contacted them and see that they have a suggestion box. I filled out the form stating interest in an Old West type, Side by Side, Double Barrel Shotgun, in 410, 20 or 28 Gauge. It would actually be nice if they offered one in every gauge. I got a reply back, thanking me for the suggestion and they stated that the more request they get, the better chance of them producing one.
What do you all say?

I love the look of the old external hammers, I have an old JP Stevens 12 ga. with them.

ˇThere are several hammer doubles that are on the market and from what I read here and other places H.R.A. has trouble keeping up with the products that they already manufacture. I wonder how much of a big seller the new revolver is. My point is that H.R.A. can not be expected to fill all of every shooters desires. How about an AR style 45-70? What they do they do well but if they get spread too thin I'm afraid that the QC will go down hill fast.

To me this is Unacceptable for the price they ask, sure I understand that every now and then but for a common occurrence NO. That's what happened to the Marlin rifle when Remington took over, the true Marlin lovers refused to buy them as did I. I will never buy a Rem. made Marlin no mater how much a previous owner may swear by it.
And if that's their way of thinking I won't chance it. If that's the mentality of their business now I've bought my last one.
I'd rather take my chances with a used 30+ year old Marlin or Winchester. Out of the dozens I've purchased through the years I've yet to come across one that was unserviceable. Sure they may have some dings and scratches but they WORK.

I suggested a 45acp carbine to go with my collection of 1911s more than a year ago... I got a form letter type email reply thanking me for my suggestion. I certainly think the 45acp would be a cool lever action carbine... but who knows, I don't design guns... just shoot them. LOL.

I’m never going to say Remington built the best Marlins. But I will say this: by the end, they were building damn good firearms. I have a 2020 .30-30 336BL. It’s fit and finish is better than my late JM 1895, and it’s the most accurate levergun I’ve owned. I respect your thoughts on them, and any Remlin built before 2017 or so, is a total crapshoot. All firearms have bad units in their production. If Henry has lowered their standards, that’s too bad.
To the suggestion box, I’ve sent multiple requests for a carbine length.30-30 over the past 5 years and never received any acknowledgment of any kind. And that is a super easy variation and a proven market. Look at the people clamouring for Marauders and Trappers from Marlin and Winchester. Tons of people like a short rifle, and there is almost zero effort required to do one, yet Henry hasn’t. I can’t wait for Ruger to build a new Marauder!

Going off subject for a bit, it's good to hear about the later day Remlins. Not only did the quality drop once Remington took over, there was much bitterness by the former employees adding to the poor image they created.
This is the first, basically speaking, that I've heard about negativity about Henry. My Henry Rifle is just about perfect. I would be curious about others who would agree or dis-agree with that statement.

How about a 45ACP Homesteader, very reminiscent of the old Reising [Model 50,55,&61(?)]from World War Two . . .

I agree on several points you made, at the end they did from what I have read. The thing about it now is, I have what I need, more so really.
Like you said about a Marauder and in 35Rem I'd probably want one of those
The only real thing I'd like to see is a trapper model in 41 mag.
