Well, for me it's been 45 colt, followed closely by 22 lr.
What say the rest of you?

I had to give this one some thought. Id say right now probably 20ga shotgun followed closely by 10mm and 40 S&W. I have really enjoyed shooting steel and clays on the bank with my Ruger PC Carbine. Pistol caliber carbines are just fun to shoot.

Definitely 22LR followed by 22WMR and 17H. Then 410 and 12g.

Probably a tie between 300 blackout and 9mm. I bought a 300 BO earlier this year and spent quite a bit of ammo developing a load. I still need to do a final scope zero so more ammo will be used. I also picked up a new 9mm CZ so it has eaten up quite a bit of ammo too.

Probably 45 Colt. But it could be .380. Shot a lot of both.

The most was .38 special, then .22 lr, then .357 magnum in my handguns. In shotgun I shot more .410 than anything else. .22 lr and .357 covered the rifle work.

Interesting results for folks.

Still 22 LR for us, but lots of centerfire work for us, too, everything from 22 Hornet all the way up through 45-70. With each passing year, though, more rimfire and more air guns.

By far it would be 22 LR in many different rifles and Ruger Mark pistols. Next would be my big heavy Savage Varmint BVSS-S single shot 220 Swift. The 22 LR wins on the high amount of rounds fired because my wife will go shoot when the 22's are going to the range. Gives me a shooting partner by using the 22's.

Shot the most of .357 in both rifles and revolvers. Next would be 9mm in pistols or the Homesteader. After that would .45 ACP in 1911's and then tied for 4th place would be .44 Mag and .45 Colt in both revolvers and rifles.

.22 LR followed by 410. Only two I shoot anymore, unless it's someone else's.

45-70 In a heavy barreled Rolling Block using duplex loads, 4 grains of 4198 over the primer and 62 of FFG Goex pushing my own 400 grain cast bullet. A very accurate and clean burning load.
