Just something about those old revolvers....

Those big ol' soft lead round nose 45 Colt bullets staring at you. My 1858 Remington with 45 Colt conversion cylinder.

Getting it ready for some range time tomorrow and the ammo is my 45 Colt load of 230 gr. Speer Round Nose lead bullets over 5.5 of Red Dot.
Those Speer bullets are a soft lead with a lube mix added to the lead designed for 45 ACP but work very well for mild Colt Cowboy loads.

I agree. Hard to beat the original big bore revolver, the 45 Colt.

What's not to like about the 45's?

I have a few cap and ball revolvers, but no conversion cylinders. šŸ˜’

All classics although I’m partial to a three-screw.
