Low Energy Days

We are having low energy days here in Wisconsin with lows not so low you have to turn on your furnace and not so high you need an air conditioner either. Even the relative humidity is comfortable.
The forecast is for frost next week.

When I saw the title, I thought it was going to be referring to one of those when you just don't want to do anything. Like mornings when you decide to have another cup of coffee and end up sitting on the couch for a couple hours. I get them more and more myself lately. LOL
And I agree about the frost, can't come soon enough for me. I'm tired of mowing the grass and want that to be done for this year.

Problem with that is then the leaves start falling, and that’s as bad as the grass growing, at least at my house.

I first thought it meant low Electricity, lol.
There have been strains on our grid across the country this year.

That was my thought too. But I have never heard of any power grid issues in Wisconsin so did one of those……huh?
I’m in the same condition here, no heat or A/C needed other than what Mother Earth provides. Heading up into the lower mountains of North Idaho today so that may change.

We are having that around my place. With rain to boot. Not nice enough to work outside, but don't want to stay cooped up as it's not winter.
The lawn is more like a hayfield this year with all our rain.

Yeah, welcome to the north woods. We had a record high of 94 last Tuesday and just two days later on Thursday, a high of 58. Yeah, I sometimes have to push myself to get outdoors with our north woods climate, especially over our long winters, but getting outdoors every day, no matter what the weather, even in the winter, helps me to adapt and keep my spirits up. Works wonders. Never was much of an indoor person, anyway.

I find I shoot more in the winter. In the summer there are so many other things to do, like preparing for winter.

And doesn't your Winter last over half the year while your Summer is only a few weeks long.

Winters last six months, summers are the normal three months with spring and fall about six weeks each.

As expected I have run the heat pump on the RV a little bit this morning. This temp at home wouldn’t require any boost but with the thin walls of an RV a little help is needed.

My RV propane tank is nearly empty and I won’t get the 500 gallon tank for at least another week. Same with the house as it’s nearly empty and I would rather have a hot shower than run the furnace and run out. Forecast is for frost tonight.

My sweet behind would be for running that thar thingy into the big city and gettin me some propane. I don't like
being cold at night.

I received a phone call and they will be here tomorrow 6 am. It was 65 degrees in the house this morning.

I have a buddy that was up in Alaska for a while. His running joke is that there are two seasons in Alaska, winter, and August.
