I have several of these in my backyard. I dont bother them and they dont bother me. But this ole boy here has gotten to be pretty good size and Im glad he is around. At first my wife was all excited about them being in the yard but I told her to chill out they are harmless and keep the bad guys away.

I don't know much about snakes. Green snakes are suppose to be harmless. The rest, I typically kill. It is good that you are aware of how to use them to your good.

A good thing to have around. We rarely see any garter snakes anymore because of developement and a neighbor that kills every snake he sees. Why? He likes mice apparently.

Very nice, Al. We have those, too, right in the yard and some that size. Pretty amazing animals.

I scootched a big one off the road the other morning. They get flattened pretty quick!

My back (front) yard guests this evening are a whitetail doe and fawn right under the window while I’m typing this. They are crunching away on windfall apples.

Those and Black snakes provide free pest control. Not a herpetologist, but I'm sure there are other friendlies out there doing a good job.
That one is a good size!

I see those around my place once and a while and won't hurt a thing unless it is a small critter. I DO keep watch for any copperheads and they could have a short life!

That’s a good looking snake Al. Recently I was in the front yard and had a 3’ bull snake laying on my lawn not far from a rock wall. I tried to get my phone out of my pocket to take a pic and my movement caused the snake to seek shelter in the wall. I couldn’t believe how fast it moved. Bam, gone! I told him/her to keep up the good work on the field mice.

That is true here in the US. In other parts of the world, that is definitely not the case.

Fortunately the eastern of eastern green mamba likely refers to eastern Africa. We don't have any of them here in the US. There are only 4 types of venomous snakes in the US. None of them are green.

Yep,
Rattlesnakes, copperheads, cottonmouths/water moccasins, and coral snakes.
