Good friend of mine owns one of those T6 trainer planes and he along with the group he fly's with made the trip to the big show.
Found one of the videos of the early Sunday arrivals and his plane is the 3rd one in line with Marine logo and the checkers on tail.

A good friend of mine goes to Oshkosh every year. He got there last Saturday and will be there for a few weeks. I went twice for long weekends and enjoyed the experience. But there are too many people for me. Great air shows and plenty of interesting planes to explore. Thanks for sharing.

Why is it that the Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard proudly put their branch name on aircraft, however, you never see a ship, or tank with Air Force painted on the side?
