Thanks Randy! The Sheetz gas stations are selling gas for July 4th at 1.77 per gallon. Was in line at 6:45 this morning to fill the truck and took about 15 minutes to get thru line.

Happy Forth. It wont be a good day for my dogs. The big boomer fireworks are illegal here but you sure wouldn’t know that by the amount of them that goes off. 1.77 gas Forty should be that price all the time

During the debates over ratification James Madison made it clear that not only did that right to keep and bear arms help create this nation, but would serve as the ultimate guarantor of our continued liberty. In Federalist 46, Madison engaged in a mental exercise about what would happen if, God forbid, we ever saw the federal government try to impose its tyrannical will against an electorate determined to resist.

Madison started by noting that the system of checks and balances created by the Constitution and already present in the states would diffuse any unlawful attempt to accumulate power within the federal government or the executive branch, and went on to describe a variety of actions that We the People could take if those checks and balances failed.

The disquietude of the people; their repugnance and, perhaps, refusal to co-operate with the officers of the Union; the frowns of the executive magistracy of the State; the embarrassments created by legislative devices, which would often be added on such occasions, would oppose, in any State, difficulties not to be despised; would form, in a large State, very serious impediments; and where the sentiments of several adjoining States happened to be in unison, would present obstructions which the federal government would hardly be willing to encounter.

It should be uprooted and moved to our southern border and slapped in the middle of the Rio Grande, as that's where most are entering these days.

Ya we'd have a blast!

I'm tired today. Last evening I carried the Army flag in the VFW and American Legion service at the local
firework. They had a pretty good country band for a couple of hours, and then we did a service with
at least twenty male and female vets with flags and rifles. We did the Pledge and then the Anthem,
and then the fireworks began. It was my honor to participate.

We had premium parking for the event and we stayed for the fireworks which were very very good.
When we got home it was nearing mid night and I had to get up early. I'm 82 and it does seem that
I can't do what I used to. Oh well, I'm just thankful for my and Carol's good health.
