Raquel was one of the Bob Hope Christmas entertainers and visited Vietnam. She is held in high regard among veterans.

She was once married to Patrick Curtis who wrote several times in Guns Of The Old West Magazine about his experiences with cowboy actors the last one in this spring's issue was about Gabby Hayes..Sadly he was killed in an auto crash in November.

From the first time I saw her on television at the age of 8 I had a crush on her. RIP Raquel.

Bob Hope and crew performed at my base camp in 1967, but I was lucky enough to fly gun cover on the perimeter rather than seeing the show. Heard all about how hot she was from my buds that got to go. Such is life.
