Proves the typical dead bolt lock installation is useless because bolt is not long enough to lock in to the double 2x4 wall frame.
I would lag bolt a 1/4 inch thick steel plate across the bolt area in door jamb and extend it to other wall stud. It would take a bit more beating than simple door jamb. But then a smart bear would try another angle.

What I've seen with the typical installation is that the bolt hole wasn't drilled deep enough to reach into the double 2x4. The bolt length was fine with a deeper hole.
Likewise I've also added steel straps to the framing and plates on the doors.
