So if this post is political I will remove it.
With this said, this is advertised in an elementary school that is a block away from home.
I have an issue with this because young kids don't need to know about this.
We have gang violence here, illegal parents, etc.
Instead of this garbage we can use gang violence prevention/trauma counseling, free classes to make illegal parents legal, etc.

Things will get worse, before things get better.

I agree with you. We have all the trouble we need in our daily lives. The cultural redefining of children is criminal. Good luck.

As this has been here for a few hours now and no mods have said anything, I will. Dahlia, I think it's ok, as it's more of a WTH is this? Agree, shouldn't be in schools, no how, no way. Let's just keep at this. Fair enough?

I come at this from a protective lioness stand point. Young kids don't need this.

A whole lot of ditto’s here. Heard a disturbing report yesterday but I’ll not make any comments as most of you probably heard it too.

I do feel very sorry for folks with kids in school and having to fight these issues.

Dahliathemeh, thank you for the way you posted this and thank you to the members who showed excellent restraint.

I think almost everyone shares your alarm at this popping up at the local school. I will challenge you to let your local school or board know your thoughts. If you do, please let us know what, if any response, you get. I understand if you don't, as it's always good to let off some steam amongst friends, as you certainly are amongst friends.

If you fight it here you're called names. I was, it's laughable.

I took a part time job after retirement at the local hardware store.

They hired a young gal (25) that's taking hormones to be a guy.

I was not happy about it because I felt it was putting me in a situation where I might say or do something that would offend her. Then I would be the bad guy and it would put my job and reputation in jeopardy.

She made comments like she hated old conservative white guys. I thought, but didn't say to her what the heck do you think I am?

She quit about 2 months after she was hired and about 3 weeks before her scheduled surgeries. She was freaking out.

I was glad to see her go. She was generally just an unhappy mixed up person.
