MAC discussing the viability of the TLC platform.
I bought my big boy x's to run with cans, but I'm not a big fan of the TLC's as i like my wood. That being said, there are a lot of options on this gun that are spiffy looking.

thanks for the link .... guess I'm too old to appreciate the tactical look, I still prefer old fashion wood .... our old model 357 (no side loading port) is dependable, accurate and fun to fire .... I have no doubt that the tactical ones are the same

Not so sure I like the black tactical thing with lever rifles. Don't need no unwanted attention to these old school lever rifles.
I got one mostly because that's what you have to buy for a factory threaded lever rifle. Have the wood kit coming for mine.
Now is .45 Colt as quiet in a lever rifle as 38/357?

No the 45c is louder, it makes more noise than the 38 wadcutters going through the air, and when hitting. The 38 is about like a suppressed 22lr. The 45c is pretty good, but it is louder.
In the video, i liked the mid west industries sights, and the aim point acro on the gun. The rest, i can let some other tactical tad buy.

Now this is more along my speed. If this had a threaded barrel i would have one instead of my BBX

Here is another review and discussion with the whole lever action suppressed rifles.
I can lose the mod stock and mlock forend, quiver and all that.
For those of us who liked to shoot with cans he talks about that.

I like the X model in 45 Colt for the quiet delivery of heavy pistol caliber lead....well best with plated or JHP lead! The Henry wood kit keeps the classic look and a little imagination can add a tactical light when needed. May try some 300 gr. loads one day!
