I heard there was some chanting going on...
I was putting brakes and changing oil on the Blazer,
then helped a buddy move some furniture for some elderly couple. Cool for some. ;)

Didn't watch it. I had a client over who is auditioning in a few weeks for a chair in the Miami, FL orchestra. We spent quite a bit of time fine tuning his instruments. Wish I had about 5K bet on the horse.

I caught the race and it was certainly an impressive finish. That was a surprising surge of speed to come from so far behind and take the win.

Didn’t see the race but wish I would have, that stuff is best live. My wife mentioned that the winner was a last minute addition due to a scratch? Hope it wasn’t so last minute that people didn’t get the chance to wager on the long shot.

I have ridden a few horses running pretty much full out, couldn't imagine doing it in those close quarters. :o
Like I said I was busy and didn't see it or even realize it was coming on.
A friend just sent me a message about it. ;) :D
And the sun of a gun didn't even mention anything about the winner.

Watched the race 6 times yesterday trying to see how they worked their way up from almost last place. Jockey used every hole and the horse pushed though. Very impressive.
