Even the cat has Spring Fever
Even the cat has Spring Fever
Cat has been climbing the storm door and Hollering so I put his harness on him and took him for a stroll. Walking a cat involves a lot of stopping and checking things out. But he does pretty well.

If I tried to put.a harness on my cat, there would be 15 lbs.of airial attack!
Would not end well for me!

Any cat I ever tried a harness on would just lay down and refuse to move. I have seen several videos of cats walking on a leash, maybe have to start them very young?

Walking harness on a cat is a new one for me! Must be a very well mannered one. When I take Buster dog out he follows his nose checking out everything. Sometimes I have to pick him up to break the scent trail of whatever it is.

Started them real early and he stands politely for me to put it on ( as long as I don't take toooo long ). Also they never went out the door unless in a harness and in my arms or in the carry box so never run out. Got to keep consistent habits. Both cats were trained the same way, unfortunately I had to put my favorite down last Fall as he had inoperable cancer.

Good for you Ernie. Training them young that is! So sorry for the demise of your favorite. They ARE family.Ernie wrote: ↑Mon Mar 21, 2022 4:15 pmStarted them real early and he stands politely for me to put it on ( as long as I don't take toooo long ).
