RIP Betty White
RIP Betty White
Such a sad way to end a dumpster fire of a year. We thought it couldn’t get any worse and then Betty passed this morning. Total d-bag maneuver 2021... I for one will be happy to see you gone!

Re: RIP Betty White
Heard a great line on the news this morning.
Betty took a look at 2022 and said, “no thanks”.
17 days short of her 100th. RIP BW

She was always so good.
Loved her with Bullock and Reynolds in "The Proposal."
She nearly stole "Lake Placid" from a giant reptile.
Who can forget Rose from "Golden Girls?"

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Was about to mention "Lake Placid". She certainly showed her diversity and humor in that one.

We watched The Proposal last night as neither of us had ever seen it. Fun (but predictable) movie but Betty sure stole the show. Loved that native dancing scene, Betty was pretty funny but Bullock was even funnier, good writing by somebody. Betty says, “you gotta feel the drums” as she reaches over and turns the CD player off.
Re: RIP Betty White
A very funny lady. RIP Betty. Her series Hot in Cleveland was very funny, an updated version of The Golden Girls.

Re: RIP Betty White
I always enjoyed her as an entertainer. Maybe it's me, but there aren't as many iconic entertainers as there used to be.

Seems to be true. At least we still have Dolly though. ☺daytime dave wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 4:38 pmI always enjoyed her as an entertainer. Maybe it's me, but there aren't as many iconic entertainers as there used to be.
