new goat

Don't remember if I had posted that I had to have Luke put down earlier this year. Leia has been more and more lonely/depressed so got this new goat last Friday. Buster is around 8 months old so still has some growing to do. Very friendly with people. Leia's not quite sure what to think of him yet but they are getting along OK.

We have Mickey and Beauty..... Nigerian Dwarf Goats.... Pretty friendly.
Buster is a good looking little guy, I'm sure that Leia will warm up!

Leia and Luke are/were 3/4 Boer, Buster is full Boer so pretty good size. Luke was at least 150 lbs. I had Pygmy's back when when I still had my horse. Lot easier to work with, I could put my pygmies on the ground and throw a leg over them to trim their hoofs, can't do that with the Boers. I did have one Pygmy that I would have to wrap my soft lead rope around his nose and jaw or he would bite me while I was trying to trim his hoofs.
