Big bowl of Dinty Moore beef stew. Diet Coke. Al drank up all my whiskey,
Outta the can Grunt? If you can eat that stuff you are a better man that I. I would need a whole grocery cart full of whiskey to get a bowl of that down.

Our church does too except it's a drive through thing and by the time you get it home it's cold.

Don’t participate anymore but we have a great Walleye fishery nearby. Mouth of the Spokane River where it enters the Columbia is a great spot. Some really big fish have been taken there but we used to get lots of 16” that were great for eating.

Last night was just grilled pork chops and salad. Trying a little bit to get away from potatoes and bread but man, that’s hard.

Yes it is. I have a problem called Candida which is made worse by carbs and sugar. I now eat a lot of veggies instead of potatoes and if I eat
bread, it's a dark bread. It's very similar to the low carb diet. The rule is, "If it's white or contains white, you can't have it."
I am finding that beer sets it off while Gin does not. Strange.
Once you get on that sort of diet you enter into something called "Ethos" after about a week. Then once a week you can eat whatever you
want with no effect. Kind of a reward that you look foreword to.
I eat a lot of greens, asparagus, peas, pinto beans, great northern beans, ect.
And of course all the meat I want.
It's really not so bad once you get into it.

Yes, I’m trying to replace the potatoes and bread with more veggies and salad. For me it’s some mild belly expansion and Type 2 diabetes.

We make a dish we call Chicken Chow Yuk. Make a white sauce and add a couple of cans of Swansons chicken meat. Simmer a bit and pour over some toast. Don’t have a clue why we started calling it that because it’s not Yuk at all. :D
