We smoked some more Salmon today to give to relatives when we go south. It's pretty popular with them
and they ask for it. We brine overnight and then a light smoke. When the fat starts appearing on the surface
we watch it closely and when we think it's done we take it off and vacuum pack it.

Of course that smoke just causes a thirst for something good as I sample the filets and good old Maker's
Mark just fits the bill. (Along with some water). (But not much).

Smoke Wagon Bourbon Coop. If you see some give it a try. Bought 3 more bottles of it after the first one. Poured some for some of my friends here they all liked it

Hmm...that's more like it. The store where I asked about it didn't have any right now, but the guy just quoted a price off the top of his head. Maybe the top of his head was a bit foggy. :P
I'll definitely give it a try if I can find a bottle. Thanks Al.

Brm, something changed a while back, maybe the latest upgrade. But since then they aren't compatible with the forum any longer.

Evening all, last night in SC, we're headed home tomorrow morning. I have been reading this one lately. We saw the movie a couple weeks ago and while out with the daughter first of the week I saw at ww.
Pretty good and the movie actually followed it fairly well.
I'm about half way through it.

I just finished a nice glass of Buffalo Trace. Did some more blueprints for the gun cabinet and celebrating my 75 years here. Made a few changes on the cabinet wanted little more room and this will make my draw a little bigger. Have to buy a new motor for my table saw. I’ll order that in few days. Looking forward to this build I haven’t been in the shop much lately. Getting the itch. Cabinet will have a solid door and draw face. I like the solid door as I can make small holders for magazines and clips. Maybe some dope sheets etc. try to utilize space when I can. Glad I did the drawings first might have ended up with an odd shaped cabinet.
