Sitting on the patio having a couple of gin and tonics and lo and behold we got a little rain. Life is good, liquid inside and out! :D

My latest discovery is a pre-mixed margarita from Jose Cuervo. This is the Strawberry-Lime flavor, as we like our sweet drinks. But I'm using it differently than I thought I would. I bought a bottle of this for making frozen margaritas in the blender, and the premix just makes it easier. Chuck a blender-full of ice and then some of the mix, blend into a slushie, and Viola, done. They were good, but that bottle has been in the garage for a couple weeks untouched. We like the Pina Coladas better.
So fast forward to about two weeks ago, we were dealing with a heatwave of sorts, and I'd get all sweated up working outside. On one of the breaks where I'd normally grab a Gatorade, I saw the half-full bottle of the margarita mix, and decided to just pour it over a glass full of ice and drink it as-is. The pre-mix is about 10% ABV, so not very strong, and all that ice makes it about the same as a beer for alcohol content, but that stuff quenches my thirst like nothing else. I think it's the lime, and it almost gives me a little chill with that first big gulp. It cuts all the pastey feeling in my mouth, and the lime tempers the sweetness just right.
I'll be out mowing again today, and I'm already looking forward to a glass of that on one of the breaks.

Had to settle for a couple Yuengling versions. :P

Traditional last night in camp. After cocktail hour I have two nice thick New York steaks hitting the grill plus some grilled baked potatoes.

Life is good.

Sounds like a nice evening BRM, the grandson and I have been out throwing the baseball around a bit.
He's wanting to pitch, so we have been working on that a little, he's doing pretty good to just be starting.
Got some pretty good control, watching some TV now and I'm sipping a cold one.
Some Agave a little later.

Went to Mass tonite, came home and had beef kabobs on the grill, twice baked potato, garden salad. Washed it all down with a Guinness. And now as night is upon us, an Irish beat. To this forum and to all who visit here! Slainte
