Not sure why anyone would want to link their phone to their TV. I can do that with my computer, and it's faster and probably has better resolution. Of course, I've only linked the two once, just to see if I could. Never really found a practical need for linking the computer and TV.

I link my phone to my in-laws tv so they can see photos and videos of the lil manly man. They are both 93 and can't see too well.

Huh? You can really do that? Man am I behind times…

It's pretty easy, as long as you have the cast option on your phone. Then anything from the phone can be seen on the tv.
