Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Raining, gray clouds, chilly @ 49*.
Weather report this morning was right on: "Bring an umbrella. It's going to rain."
Enjoying a double mocha coffee in my Henry mug....warming.
These springs rains are great for our area after only a total of 4.5" snow this past winter.
We have been bone dry, and need every drop of rain we can get!

I should have realized that it would rain today, because I decided to cut the grass yesterday. I could almost see it growing again today.

I will say this: far exceeds my expectations and they were already high. It looks REALLY cool. My phone camera isn't working for some reason. Pics later!

Good morning everybody!
The rain seems to have stopped, although I think it's just refilling the tanks, but at least it's warm.
I hope you all have a good day.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
early this morning the storm front that hammered parts of Texas a couple of days ago started rolling through our part of central NC .... fortunately, none of the extreme weather seems to have made it this far .... so far lots of lightening and thunder with down burst of heavy rain

Nice weekend coming up. Temps in the 60's. I will give my new rifle a workout and the revolver too! I would not want to be a target board this weekend...it's gonna be a rough ride!!! Tea time.

Good morning everybody!
The forecast for the weekend is looking good, so I'm going to bring the lawnmower out of hibernation and get the grass cut at my two clubs. If I'm still standing after that then the one at home might get lucky, too.
I hope y'all have a great weekend, and enjoy your brews.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Heavy rain the past two days but supposed to hit the low seventies and sunny today. I may sit outside a bit and enjoy the spring weather and read. Hopefully I'll soon be able to walk down to the range and shoot. Therapy continues and the leg heals. Glad to see the cold beginning to fade in the rear view mirror.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Today's the day! Look for an 1860 Henry range report later....70mph wind today but that won't keep me from the range this afternoon. Temps in the 50's. Tea time, then out for breakfast with the wife. Can't wait to shoot her....the new Henry I mean.
