74 @ 9AM on Tues May 19th with today's high forecasted to reach 93 before dropping back to an overnight low of 63 .... our highs in the 90's are expected to last a couple of more days .... the first mention of rain can be seen in thunderstorms moving in as the 90's move out .... the only thing on today's calendar that will take us away from home is picking our grandson up after school

62 F in Ventura by the CA coast. It's supposed to be around 72 F today.
Always some haze in the air, but not so much right now.
Coffee is great, plus some scrambled eggs w/ hash browns.

another beautiful but hot day in our part of central NC .... 89 (RealFeel 103) at PM on Wed May 20th under a cloudless, Carolina Blue Sky .... they say it we will have an actual high of 92 with our temp falling to an overnight low of 65 .... first up this morning, Maureen had an early medical appointment in an adjoining town .... it involved a medical test whose name I'd never heard of .... it turned out to be pretty tough on her, we had to use a wheel chair to get her back to our car .... did manage to get he back in the house where she's been sleeping it off every since ..... they said she should fine when it wears off
