37 and the sky is showing the promise of a nice sunny day as did the weather guy on the morning news. High today around 50 and only getting nicer this weekend. Peaking on Monday tickling 70 then cooling off a bit but still above average next week in the 50’s and sunny.

I didn’t get to the lawn thatching the other day so that’s on tap for today. That is after assembling four bar stools my wife ordered that arrived yesterday, 16 bolts per stool, I told her it was going to cost her……..

Another night of heaving icing and frost. And another 7” of snow on the way. I love winter but it’s now spring and I’m no longer in the mood for this show.

Friday, April 3rd has been a pretty nice one .... only disappointment has been a few periods of drizzle didn't so much as settle the dust .... they say our high today was 76 .... temp at 7PM has fallen back to 73 on its way to an anticipated overnight low of 59 .... as part of our preparations for a drive out to South Dakota in June we took another test run in our truck .... prior test runs let us know the mileages we can anticipate a 65 and 70 mph ..... today's 60+ mile cruse was to determine the fuel mileage traveling at an interstate speed of 75 mph .... South Dakota's rural speed limit is 80, don't anticipate learning our truck's mileage at that speed until we cross into the state south of Sioux Falls

BRM, looks like you folks will need pastel colored parkas.

31 here with a nice bright sunrise happening. Not sure of the high temp forecast but I’ll bet it will be high 50’s to low 60’s. Wonderful! More nice weather for several days.

Heading up north to the property today to do a look around. We might head up for three days this week and I may need to clean up the RV pad. We’re thinking real hard about selling it so will need to do some clean up, mostly mowing and opening up the atv trails in the wooded area.
