I normally keep my thermostat at 68 but with the cold I turned it up to 70 in case I loose power. I just checked and it’s 73 inside. Even in the cold the sun warms the house.

Ordered cat food from Chewy and FedEx passed by my street yesterday claiming the inclement weather did not allow them to deliver. Sun was shining, street was plowed and clear as well as the driveway. Today it is colder and snowing. Tracked the truck and he was heading away from me so I chased him down. Cat doesn't understand "Sorry, I don't have any food for you". FedEx is not my favorite.

Little bit of surprise rain last night. But cold East wind has already dried that up by sunrise.
36' and sunny this morning. Maybe 47' later. Sunny expected next couple of days.

Quite the shame! decades ago, FedEx used to be the premier delivery service, but in my opinion, they are now the most un-dependable worst.

Have you ever tried to lodge a complaint to FEDEX? Yesterday our neighbor up the road about a mile
came to our door with our Starlink Mini I had ordered for the RV. FEDEX delivered it to their house by
mistake and even photographed their front door and sent me a text with it. I'm glad we have honest neighbors.

So I tried for an hour to complain to FEDEX. If you call the number and actually get through, the robot voice will hang
up on you if you answer on item wrong. I finally gave up and tried their Chat. No better. My guess is they don't want to hear complaints.

While not anywhere close to Sir Henry and Coop (thankfully) we are having the coldest day of the season today at 12 above. Not sure what the high is supposed to be but probably in the mid 20’s. Got a nice fire in the stove plus I’m letting the furnace run at the same time. I’ll do this until the house gets up to the set temp of 69 and then turn it down. Normally I use the stove to bring the temp to 69 and then turn the furnace on to maintain the temp. With the temp today I want the whole house to get heat as the stove mostly heats the great room area including the kitchen and dining room.

Not much planned other than filling up the firewood rack on the patio and taking the dogs for a hike.

I have a FedEx account to manage deliveries. When logged in, it provides a link to make a claim (https://www.fedex.com/en-us/customer-su ... laims.html). You might find it helpful. I don't get too many deliveries from them, but I've never had a problem.
