If I'd have known we were posting our morning grub I could have taken a picture before scarfing. I'll remember one of these days. LOL

They say this will be the first time since 2014 that the temperature will remain below 32 degrees all day and night.

It's been much colder than the last few years in December here. Calling for snow late tonight, turning to rain by morning. It's 15 degrees now and 47 for tomorrow and 5 for Sunday night !!

My heating bill for the last month was $287 as it was a cold month for our area. I expect December to be more and when I have the hardwood floors done I need to keep the house at 68 to 70 degrees the entire time (day and night) he is working. This also includes a week that the wood will be in the house acclimatizing.

Good morning everybody! :D

It's 38°, and that's about all I can tell you because the weather hasn't shown up yet. I do know it's not raining, though - or snowing.

Have a great weekend, and enjoy your brews! :D

24* at 5:50 and every thing is covered in ice with the freezing rain. It is really coming down right now and I hope it warms up later to thaw things out. Have a nice week end.

Morning, a nice layer of ice out there this morning. Getting ready to head into work for one of the rare work Saturdays. Going to go slow and driving careful. With the back roads around here they will have not been touched. Should be a fun 10 miles. Big 4x4 does you no good on solid ice. If it's too bad I'll just stay in.

Enjoy the day and stay safe.

50° light rain, the smell of fresh sausage being cooked up with my 1st cup of coffee down watching a Henry Repeating arms Christmas commercial on the tube.

1 inch of snow covering the ice and about 14°. Commonsense unfortunately is getting the best of me. I was headed to Kearny Nebraska to see Mr. Imperato and the LGS there. That is now going to not happen. Bummer. A 3 Hour Drive on a good day will not happen on a day like today. Hope you all stay safe and warm.

50mph wind here this morning blowing snow all over the place, can't see more than 100 feet. The good news is, the wind signals a warm Pacific Chinook blowing in, and it went from -35 to -15 over night. Monday should be above freezing. Tea in the Henry mug.

Good morning all. Haven't been around here much lately. A little catching up to do.

Our worst weather for the month was Thursday and Friday. Downpours. Should be all sun for the next 7 to 10 days though. Getting my car detailed today actually!

Two cups off coffee and off to the detailer....

Yeah I remember living in Chicago my blue car would turn an odd shade of grayish brown with the salt and muck from the roads in the winter. If the temps went above freezing I could wash all of that stuff off just to accumulate it again.
