My wife and I just got back from a 10 day cruise which could have been a breeding ground for the flu and/or a covid outbreak. No problems of any kind and only a handful of folks on the ship used masks. We both get our flu shots every year about Oct. 1. I make a habit of going mainly to make sure my wife gets hers, since she is a type 2 diabetic. As for covid we both have had our 2 initial shots and then one booster and both agree we are done with any more covid booster shots. So far neither of us have had covid and we can remember the last time we had the flu. I just hope our luck continues and we remain healthy.

Got flu type A from a guy who works at my shop coming over to make an offer on my Jeep. I had my flu shot in October but this hit me pretty hard. Coughing, aches, chills, sweats, loss of appetite, you know....the flu. Have not had flu in years but this stuff is spreading like crazy. Was down 4 days but went into work today and feel much better moving around. Be aware, keep your distance.
Glad you recovered well Ernie! Was your flu shot for Type A ?
I have no idea what type of flu the shot covered. Got the shot at work like usual and I did not think to ask.
Still have some congestion and cough but feel much better.
