Best to Carol Coop, my wife recently did the same with great results.
Here in smoky Deer Park/Spokane is’s 56 with I guess a sun above the smoke layer. Cooling off this week with highs in the 80’s. There’s another Red Flag Warning for tonight into tomorrow for lightning storms possibly starting additional fires. Gusty winds to 40 too but just in the localized areas of the storms. Thankfully these storms are coming with rain possible heavy in the storm area and possibly some light rain widespread. There are about 500,000 local fingers crossed for some rain!

Fair, 70°F, Humidity 88%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 29.94 in
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80.
Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the morning.
A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11am.
Rain would be welcome. I hauled six bags of salt into the basement
yesterday afternoon. That's getting to be quite a chore at 85.

Glad you’re getting some rain BRM.
61 and partly cloudy this morning and very little smoke due to winds from the NE pushing the smoke to the south of us. Sorry Eastern Oregon, you guys like us have enough local smoke you don’t need ours.

Cooler for the next several days with temps mostly in the low 80’s. Still no rain in sight for my place but we did get some goods rains to the west and the north of me. 1052 lightning strikes last night in these areas but only one new fire so far and it’s out. But, lightning strikes can start a smoldering fire that flares up after a few days. Hope not!

81 (RealFeel 97) @ 9AM on Fri August 14th ... forecasted high 95 (RealFeel 108) falling to an overnight low of 74 .... "Hot and humid with some sun, then clouds; a thunderstorm around this afternoon; danger of dehydration and heatstroke if outside for extended periods of time" ... nothing on our calendar that requires us to leave home .... of course, as is always the case our plans are absolute and final, subject to change at any second

Seems to be a trend during the Summer. I think people are a bit busier with other things. Just a hunch.

Fog/Mist, 66°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed E 3 mph
Barometer 30.06 in
Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 81.
Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
A chance of precipitation.
The fair was great. Had a glass of beer, pork chop on a stick, and some cheese curds.
It was a perfect day as the heat finally broke and we walked around quite comfortably.

58' and with heavy overcast (no visible cloud edges). Maybe 78' later. I think we're past the summer hump for high temps. Forecast for the rest of the month high 70's to low 80's. Overall the summer here has been very mild.
