For a while, when much younger we did a family camp each year in Eastern Oregon. Temps were usually quit hot. One year we went expecting hot and got cold and snow. We weren't prepared and had to go into the nearest town to buy warm clothing.

Not Minnesota but 3 years ago on Apr 14 we woke up to a foot of snow, previous record for snowfall in all of April was ½inch, new official record was 10.4 inches.
