Rice Lake and Ladysmith are only an hour away from me. Although Wisconsin is a purple state the firearms laws are fairly good.

“Made in the USA or not made at all” is a great philosophy but I bet the climate (not weather) is better in Wisconsin than it is in New Jersey.
Good for you (and the US) Henry.

I don't blame them one bit.
Can't believe they've stayed this long.

Hopefully they will be able to keep or replace their quality workers. When BerettaUSA moved from Maryland to Tennessee their quality control went way downhill. It's gotten better but for awhile a lot of the guys over on the Beretta forum would only buy Beretta's that were made in Italy.

According to Henry only a small amount of firearms were being built in New Jersey. Henry originally settled on New Jersey years ago because it wasn't as bad as the state of New York at the time.

The Henry parts store is also offline until they finish the move. It also gets a new name: "Henry Outfitters"

Re: Henry moving all operations to Wisconson
I looked into when my .243 single shot would be ready two weeks ago. Young lady said figure 6-8 weeks. I guess the move might be holding things up. Well was 75 years before I got my first Henry, what’s a few more weeks. I’m going to get table saw up and running soon. I ordered a new motor which came in. I was all set to get my lumber today, however all the wood I want is in the rough and I don’t own a planer or joiner. I do have a Lei Nielsen edge plane the could do the job but it only planes up to 3/4” or little better. Well I’ll call to a place I usually get my lumber in New Hampshire. I’ll call see it they have what I need. I need some 1” stuff and they usually have it.So I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
