Beautiful wood. Nice

Well mostly! Happened to come across it online a Uberti 1858 44 caliber BP revolving carbine. Be a great match for the 1858 Remmie revolver I have and I already had a pair of the 45 Colt conversion cylinders. Can't believe how light it is being a bit lighter than the Ruger polymer stocked Compact 10/22 and much lighter than my Rossi Ranch Hand 45 Colt. Very quick to get up on shoulder with the unique way you have to place your other hand around front of brass grip. Have some ammo already loaded for these conversion Remmie's which is a soft lead 230 gr Speer bullet with 5.5 gr. of Red Dot.
Will get out Monday after this rain dries out and see how it shoots! Got it for less than 600 bucks!

Barrel is 18 inch and both the rear and front sight can be moved for windage.

The wood on that weapon is nicer than the wood on my living room furniture. Enjoy that New acquisition.

I love those carbines, I nearly bought a BP version just to hang on the wall…. Years ago that was; it was $450 but not nearly as nice figure as yours! Excellent wood, a real looker!

This is the BP 44 cal Carbine and the Taylors Company version I found thru another dealer. You can get the drop in 45 Colt conversion cylinder for it.
The great thing is being a black powder rifle and can be shipped directly to you and no FFL required.
It shot as well as it looked today!
