Have been looking for the right holster to carry my 1872 Belly Blaster that would fit the gun tight to body for better conceal and slick fast draw.
Looking online from various holster makers I could not find anything I liked. Looking thru my pile of holsters I found an old Uncle Mikes soft fabric
holster that fit great for ISWB use. All I did was roll back the opening to shorten it up and to clear the hammer with material secured with velcro.
Fits great and very comfortable to carry and the draw is very quick and smooth.
I don't throw much stuff away that sits around and eventually find a use for it!
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

LOL, Belly Blaster is a good name, are you sure you want to carry it there? I wouldn’t recommend it in any way.

It's fine there with hammer on empty chamber.John E Davies wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 1:18 pmLOL, Belly Blaster is a good name, are you sure you want to carry it there? I wouldn’t recommend it in any way.

Re: The right holster made it work....
44 Special is the caliber. This started with the 1872 Uberti Open Top 44 I bought with 7.5 inch barrel several years ago and bought an extra barrel for it.
I then cut it back to 3 inch and recently swapped on a birds head grip frame I had for another Uberti 1873 SA revolver. This thing like a 3 in 1 kit because I also have a 38 Special cylinder and 5.5 inch barrel for it!
