I got the new shingles vaccine two doses and that's it for life. My sister had shingles that stuffs awful
my wife and I have had both shingles shots .... the first one proved to be less successful in preventing someone from coming down with shingles and my wife was one of them ... it did help in reducing the pain and length of the recovery ....

As far as vaccines go, the only one I will get in the next week or so will be the for the flu. I've been getting one every year since I retired in 2011 and have had no side effects or the flu. I will not get another Covid shot since I don't believe they have any value. I had both Moderna shots and then a booster and still got Covid last year after returning from a cruise. Yes it as a very mild case, but I'm still not convinced the vaccine has any impact.

As for RSV I'm a firm believer that that vaccine is nothing but a way for big pharma to make more money. RSV has been around for longer than I have and suddenly we need a vaccine? Hmmmm, I think I'll pass.

This is just my 2 cents and what I will do. You have to make your own decisions that are right for you.

No thanks. Been all over the place last few years and doing just fine. No shots, no masks. Best wishes for all.

Wife and I both were unvaccinated and got hit by the Chinese freight train two years ago. She took Ivermectin and was pretty much over it in 3 days. I ended up in the hospital for 8 days but wisely refused the remdesivir (SP?) shot. An RN warned me they had seen bad things after the rem-death-avir treatment and I found out later that both the doctor and the hospitable got a tidy payment from the govt for administering it. We have close friends in the medical profession and things we've heard have caused us to not be as trusting as we used to be. No shots here.

as noted elsewhere, we had to postpone our Covid shots that were scheduled for today because our grandson came down with Covid over the weekend and we were around him .... 13 days from now, if we test negative, we can reschedule

our exposure to Covid proved to be a nonissue because the person proved to not have Covid .... our shots have been rescheduled for day after tomorrow ....

POSTED FOR INFORMATION .... AS WITH ALL VACCINES, FOLKS WOULD BE WISE TO CHECK WITH THEIR DOCTOR

we checked and another vaccination has been added to our list .... per a recommendation from our doctor, we will add an RSV vaccination to the ones we will have this fall .... respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a vaccine used to prevent lung and lower airway infections .... the vaccine is purposefully designed to stimulate the immune response to protect against RSV in people aged 60 years and older. ... the FDA rates this vaccine as being over 94% effective in preventing lung and lower airway infection from RSV in people aged 60 years and older with asthma, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic heart failure, advanced liver or kidney disease, or any chronic respiratory or pulmonary disease
