Super Blue Moon

Tonight was a Super and Blue Moon. I watched it come up from my front porch.

Prior to the moonrise I walked on the hill above my shooting berm. It levels off and is several acres. The moonrise would be directly behind the center trees so I walked around till I could see the actual spot. Turned out the best spot was my front porch.

The Earths Shadow and Belt of Venus is a nightly scene and usually outdoes the sunset.

It is my understanding that we have another night, (tonight) to see the Blue Moon. It's supposed to be clear here tonight, so I intend to take a look.

Better shot than mine. I took another picture last night. You can see the tower on Timms Hill just to the left of the moon.
