Re: New surprise gift
A very nice surprise. I framed a favorite picture of my wife and her service dog about six months after she lost her. It sits on her dresser. We have always had a dog or two and it's amazing how much they give. You never realize what a big part of our lives they become, especially after the kids leave, until they pass on. Our condolences for your loss. Your artist did a good job on the gift.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Outstanding, both the picture and the painting. What a nice gesture from your friends.
