A sad day indeed but how much respect we have for your Dad and his courage to make the decision he did. RIP Mark’s Dad and peace to the family.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Mark. I found time will not make you miss him less but will allow you to focus more on the good memories. My condolences to you and your family.

Lost my dad a couple of years ago to Alzheimer's. As you said, it's tough even when you know its coming.

Mark, I'm very sorry for your loss.

I remember so well seeing the video recorded as he was being released from the hospital after a very long recovery from the COVID virus. Glad you had him for a few more years.

You and your family have my deepest sympathy.

Mark, is this your father?

Thank you so much for finding and posting the link Stan! Yes, that IS my Dad and Step Mom of over 40 years now.
Shortly after they married they went to India and adopted Lela, who was almost 5 at the time. The other is Lelas daughter Jasmine, and in another shot, is my older sister Denise.
We all are blessed that he has endured so long in the hospital, and is still with us. Thanks for all the prayers from forum members, as well as others. I do believe, we all helped him get to this point!
PTL...thanks again Stan!☺☺

Mark, you & your family are in our prayers, Sir! We'll pray for comfort and peace for y'all.

Like has been said above, focus on all the good times and fun y'all had together, and in knowing that he knew God.
